Just a few words of thanks for organising the trip of a lifetime. The work was hard but the rewards made every step worthwhile. I will never forget the sunsets,the sunrises, the stars in the night sky or the quiet of the desert in the evenings. Nor will I forget the friendship you, Brahim, Ali and Mohamed showed me.

| | | Abdul who runs Sahara Services, trips in to the desert, is one of the most honest, western thinking, straight talking Moroccans I have ever met. I spent 8 days walking in the desert with two guides and two camels. It is an experience I will never forget as long as I live. The walking was really tough, about twenty kilometres a day but the rewards were outstanding. To fall asleep with exhaustion in the shade of a tree after a hard mornings walk and be woken by someone handing you fresh mint tea and pistachio nuts. To watch the desert change colour in the sunset. Watching a billion billion stars in the night sky, or the quiet of the desert before the sun comes up. Sahara Services do all kinds of trips, from an afternoon in a 4x4 out to the Dunes at Chegagga, an incredible place, to the type of trip I went on and anything in between. Whatever type of trip you take, try to do at least some walking as cooped up in a jeep you are insulated, and isolated from the desert, on foot is undoubtedly the best option. After the desert I spent 4 days in jeep with Abdul travelling over the mountains to Fez. A very different trip but worthwhile because we went so far off the beaten track and the schedule was flexible with regards to when and where we stopped.

it was one of the most impressing trips I have ever made. When the rain came back to the desert after 6 years it was like new life was sent from allah. We felt like home in this

Beyond seeing one of the most breathtaking scenery imaginable, we learned so much from Abdoul (who speaks English admirably) about the desert, Nomad life as well as contemporary Morocco. The outcome? | | | Thanks to Abdoul, Hans and I discovered the most beautiful parts of southern Morocco. During 4 days in a four wheel drive from Marrakesh to M'Hamid, we saw impressive kasbahs, appreciated the great landscape of the Higher Atlas, its beautiful gorges, learned a lot from Abdoul and Brahim about the life of the nomads and appreciated their company very much. Afterwards,we went for an unforgettable 7-day camel trip with with 3 camels and Mohamed (Bobo) and Ali as guides from M'Hamid via the Dunes d'Irlande to chegaga and back via the Oasis Sacrée. It is definitely a recommendable trip for everyone who want to get away from everything and just live with the day and enjoy nature: the sky full of stars, the variation of desert landscape, a nice fire in the evening, freshly sand-baked bread, Berber Whisky and music and excellent food all along. Long walks in the morning, long breaks during the day to relax, eat and play a Berber Dame game in the sand, further walking in the evening and enjoying beautiful sunsets and sunrises. Uns hat der Aufenthalt und auch die Tour mit Übernachtung in der Wüste sehr gut gefallen, ihr seit wirklich eine lustige und nette Truppe. Wir können jedem der eh schon in Zagora ist, nur dringend zu dem Abstecher zu Abdou und seiner Truppe raten, ein tolles Erlebniss.

The whole organisation was great and worked perfectly. Espcially the nights in at Erg Chebbi and Erg Chiggage were unforgettable.
I can really recomment to use this folks for trips through this part of Marokko

| | | Just wanted to say how much I enjoyed my desert trip!!! Abdoul organised some fantastic, beautiful places for us to stay and eat in (lovely Riad in Zagora, Kasbah in Draa Valley was wonderful). He took us on a tour round Ait Benhaddou, camel trek. The dunes and the village he is building in the desert are really cool.

Hamid, Atman, Hassan and the guys from de Maison des hôtes in Mhamid were all very nice and made us feel very comfortable and welcome.

| | | Arrived in M Hamid, looking forward to our camel treck, not knowing what to expect. We were greeted by Ali and a glass of the customary refreshing tea. The headscarves proved to be most valuable on the treck. A vegetarian tagine was not to be missed for dinner.
After breakfast we met our english speaking guide, Zaid, Muhammed and Ibrahim - and the camels, of course.
My fear of sitting for the entire 5 days was eliminated - we could walk as much as we pleased and ride the camels as needed.
Zaid was very informed and able to answer all our questions.
Lunch was always a welcome and special occasion. What could be better than sitting in the Sahara, sipping tea, munching a delicious Moroccan salad???
Before sunset we stopped to set up camp, enjoying tea and watching the sun set. Again we were presented with a delicious dinner. And always care was taken, to provide a tasty vegetarian meal.
The entire trip went very well. We were well taken care of, the guide, Zaid, and his helpers were most helpful, friendly and efficient.
At the Hotel Kasba Sahara Services everyone made us feel most welcome and the service was efficient and reflected what the Lonely Planet promised.

| | | Nous avons passé 1 nuit en bivouac dans l'Erg Cheggaga avec Sahara services. Nous sommes ravis : paysages de dunes magnifiques, campement très joli, ambiance des 1000 et 1 nuits, dîner aux chandelles, danses et chants traditionnels autour du feu sous les étoiles filantes.
Trajet dans 1 4*4 tout neuf.

| | | Sahara Services definitely topped off our vacation to Morocco. We're so happy we chose to book a tour with this organization. Hamide was the best driver in the world and he knows half of the Moroccan population. He drove through all kinds of weather and terrain, always keeping his cool. We were treated so well by all staff and felt very welcome - at the guesthouse in M'Hamid where we were presented with the BEST tajine we had in Morocco & a fantastic bfast the next morning, at the tented camp site where Hassan sat with us over tea (sorry we couldn't stay Hassan due to the rain!), and the maison d'hotes in Foum Zguid. We feel that we were able to get a good feel for the diversity in landscape as well as how people live in Morocco having gone with Sahara Services for 3 days. We hope to come back someday and in the meantime, we'll be recommending you to our friends and family.

We have just arrived from our trip to Morocco, and we want to thank to Abdoul and all the collegues from the Sahara services for make us enjoy our best experience in Morocco. We spend a really good time during the 3 days trip to the desert. The travel would not be so funny without Abdoul, our driver and guide, and we missed him the rest of the days in Morocco. Dear Abodoul, thanks for all, and we hope that we can see you again in the future, listening Bereber music and enjoying a cup of tea with mint in the middle of the desert!
